Matching
pants and everything! These guys take the game to a new level.
They had two versions of jerseys, they had an A squad and B squad and they
had a post game rally at the pitcher's mound. One lefty who played
catcher. Great 3B. Pitcher has a good knuckler varies his
pitching style. |
L
1-16 We only got a couple hits and had about 5-6 errors in the
field. Pair that with a great hitting and defensive opponent and you
get a 5th inning mercy rule. L
4-19 They moved to 5 infielders for this game. We had one
rally inning when we were faced with elimination in the top of the
5th. That was the only good news for the Clippers. Ed's bag of
DVDs was the highlight of the night. |

place team in 2006. We beat them twice in 2006 with a great 7 run,
7th inning comeback in game 2. #8
SS and the bald LF are their 2 home run hitter. Their LCF and RCF
are both very quick and hit to the left side of the field every time.
Lots of action at 3B when playing against this team. |

lefties. A few guys who can hit to the warning track and they had
two wind-aided HRs. They played a rover in the outfield, but it
wasn't very effective.

The clippers almost won by 10 runs in the bottom of the 6th but they
had a little life while the rain came down. We held on to win the
first game. L
They started game two with a two big 9 run innings. We cut the
lead down in the middle innings, but we had too much to make up. |

This
is a very good hitting team. They didn't hit much to right
field. They had 2 lefties and they hit more up the middle.
Most of their hits were hard grounders or deep line drives. Pitcher
has a lot of arch. We lost both games to this team on opening night
in 2007. |
