Sheep 2006 Regular Roster - made up of 5 men and 6 women.
Elissa Chaffee is one of the original Sheep. Elissa took a couple years off, but she is back at it this year. We're glad to see her suit up again!
Neil Chaffee is one of the original Sheep. Neil is one of the most consistent hitting Sheep and an Al Newman of sorts in the field. Neil had made some beauty catches in left field and is always gunning for the double.
Scott Dahl has been a Sheep for many years. Scott has perfected the opposite field single. But he has started to get around on the ball and rip it to the left side of the field!
Kenny Earl is a new Sheep in 2006. Welcome to the flock!
Rich Kofski has been a Sheep for many years and is one of the original Bulldogs. Rich is the Sheep shortstop and is the king of opposite field home runs.
Tracy Kofski has been a Sheep for many years and is one of the original Bulldogs. Tracy plays a stellar second base and has had her share of critical putouts. Tracy also gets the Sheep cheering award!
Chris Lindquist is in his third year of Sheephood. Chris is now a full time Sheep and he plays 3rd base and shortstop. Chris has a knack for the game and makes smart defensive plays.
Matt Lindquist is one of the original Sheep and one of the original Bulldogs. Matt is the shepherd of the team and likes hitting doubles and scouting out the other team.
Jessi Nikko has been a Sheep for many years. Jessi has incredible range in the outfield but can play wherever you put her. Jessi is excellent at first base and likes to burn the opposing outfielders.
Ann Novitske is going to be a full time Sheep this year. She has been a broomball Sheep for years and this year, she decided to play on grass instead of just ice.
Heather Rende had so much fun playing broomball with the Sheep that she decided to try softball as well!
Dawn Samples is in her third year of Sheephood. Dawn has shown that she can play anywhere in the field and give the Sheep a definite defensive edge over our opponent.
Sheep Subs
Karen Ainslie just joined the Sheep in 2004 and brings a mighty bat to the plate!
Mary Baker became a Sheep in 2001. Mary is our stellar pitcher and plays a mean outfield. And she has fans at just about every game!
Cathy Cervantes is one of the original Bulldogs and is a full time sub.
Al Chapman plays as a broomball sheep and played 2004 for the first time as a softball sheep. "Take it to the bank AL!"
Charolette the Piano Teacher Sorry man, I just don't know her last name yet. But she plays piano AND she plays softball with the best of them. We're glad to have her as a Sheep sub!
Kelly Gallagher is a Sheep sub this year. Kelly is a great hitter and can play anywhere in the field. She'll also slide if the time is right.
Jodi Grack has been a Sheep for many years. Jodi burns the left side of the defense with her down-the-line shots. Jodi has also perfected the first base stretch.
Jupe Hale is a Sheep sub this year. Jupe runs the bases with reckless abandon (for his body that is) and crushes the ball. Jupe has been know to pick fights with umpires though. :)
Cari Jo Kiffmeyer became a Sheep in 2001. Cari Jo is deadly at first base and keeps our third base coach on their toes!
Neil Kulevsky is one of the original Sheep and one of the original Bulldogs. "Klubber" is our offensive stallion - winning the batting title 5 out of 6 times.
Brian Leither has been a Sheep for many years but decided to move to sub status so he can spend more time with his brood.
Mike Lindquist is now Sheepish about playing 3rd base and is a full time sub. But after going 4-4 as a DH in 2004, he is back in the swing of things.
Jen Olson has never played with the Sheep but she has agreed to fill in for the 6th woman spot toward the end of the season. Welcome Jen!
Matt Walfoort joined the Sheep in 2004. His speed is a deceptive weapon in the outfield and is consistently at the top of the batting average stats.
Claudine Weiler has been a Sheep for many years and is one of the original Bulldogs. Claudine has blazing speed around the bases and has been seen in the outfield even more this year!
Kayne Weiler is looking to log more games than most full time Sheep this year. Thanks Kayne for helping out! Kayne runs the bases in flash and specializes in consistent hitting and in the park homers.
Karleen Westermeyer has been a Sheep for many years. Karleen is a surgeon around the plate and has burned her share of outfielders. Karleen also owns the Sheep's all-time woman's single season slugging record at 524.
